To Vanessa,
Pain is an eternal element.
No one knows,
Or can recall
When it began.
Or if there was ever a day
it wasn´t haunting.
Agony is its only future.
It´s realms are contained infinately.
It´s past is delighted
to behold
A new interval of pain.
He ate and drank
The wretched words.
His spirit grew so dim.
He knew no more
That he was rich,
And his future grew
Slowly grim.
Soon his body turned to dust.
His eyes stopped dancing
That special way.
Now buried within the Earth´s crust
His expired body lay.
